Summertime. The sun will rise early and stay up late
(and so will the kids).
They’ll swap their school clothes and textbooks for swimsuits and surfboards. Lunch trays for picnic blankets. And games of tag at recess for games played on the sand.
There’ll be beach days and bonfire nights. Root beer floats and parade floats. Boardwalks and nature walks.
They’ll slip their sandals on (and kick them off as soon as possible).
They’ll head to summer camps, sleepovers, and swimming pools. Birthday parties and block parties.
It’ll be amazing. And then it will be gone.
Until then, light breezy clothes feel as carefree and look as colorful as summer itself.
Whisper-soft pima tanks and tees. Tiered dresses and skirts that twirl. Scooters with hidden shorts (for cartwheeling and climbing trees). And rashguards that protect from the surf to the sprinkler.
Summer is short. Let them seas every day in effortless style.
